The 38m telescopic boom is the biggest access machine we hire — reserved for large-scale commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects where nothing else reaches. Our JLG 1200SJP delivers a 38.7 m working height (36.7 m platform), 22.9 m of horizontal outreach and a 180-degree rotating jib for precise final placement, with platform capacity up to 450 kg restricted.
It’s the machine industrial maintenance teams use on jobs like the harbour bridge, and that high-rise builders bring in to install windows and cladding on apartment and office towers. With extendable axles, 45% gradeability in 4WD and an 18.5-tonne machine weight, site planning matters: allow for heavy transport, access and hardstanding. If your heights top out in the twenties, the 22m or 28m classes will do the work for considerably less.
