The 7T tandem roller is the production machine for asphalt and surfacing work — car parks, access roads, subdivision streets and light earthworks. Our Bomag BW151 AD-50 rolls a 1680 mm width with vibration on both drums, combining real static weight with up to 75 kN of force to achieve density quickly on thicker asphalt lifts and granular layers alike.
Operators rate the BW151’s generous platform and visibility, which matter on long paving shifts. It’s the step up from the 4.5T tandem when you need more coverage and compaction energy per pass; if you’re doing patches, driveways and tight tie-ins, the 1.7T double drum is the more manoeuvrable choice. For deep compaction of clay fills, switch to a padfoot.
