5T Dynapac CA1300PD Padfoot Roller
This 5T roller, with padfoot drum, is designed for compaction operations in pipe trenches, on road shoulders and in cramped spaces during refilling work. It is also suitable for repair work on dams, power stations, parking lots and airfields. Use the padfoot roller for projects where you need to compact soil at greater depths.

Hire a 5 tonne padfoot roller in Auckland for deep compaction of clay and cohesive soils — trenches, shoulders and backfill. Call 0800 467 009.
Padfoot rollers are the answer when you need compaction at depth in cohesive soils — clay, silt and loam — rather than a smooth surface finish. The tapered pads punch into the fill and compact from the bottom up, which is exactly what engineered backfill, subgrade preparation and structural fill require in Auckland’s clay-heavy ground.
Our 5T Dynapac CA1300PD is sized for compaction in pipe trenches, road shoulders and cramped working areas during refilling work, as well as repair jobs on dams, car parks and hardstands. With 89 kN of centrifugal force and 52% gradeability it handles slopes and deep lifts that would defeat smaller gear. If you’re compacting granular basecourse or need a smooth finished surface, choose a smooth drum instead; for bigger earthworks with room to move, the 7T or 12T padfoot will cover ground much faster.
Fast delivery is available Auckland-wide. Call 0800 467 009 for advice on padfoot versus smooth drum for your soil type.
