Flexdrive pumps are the site dewatering standard: a petrol Honda engine sits safely on the bank while the flexible driveshaft spins a submersible pump head down in the water — no electricity needed at the wet end. That makes them ideal for pumping out trenches, excavations, basements and ponds on construction, industrial and agricultural jobs.
We hire two sizes of Mikasa flexdrive pump. The 2-inch (50 mm) unit moves up to 500 litres per minute with a 13 m head — right for everyday trench and pit dewatering. The 3-inch (75 mm) steps up to 1,200 litres per minute and a 23 m head for flooded excavations and higher lifts. Both are self-priming for quick starts and dependable performance in demanding conditions, and camlock outlet hoses are available to suit.
