When the job is measured in truckloads, the 20–25 tonne class is where production earthmoving starts. These machines are built for bulk excavation, subdivision and infrastructure earthworks, demolition, and deep drainage — digging 6.5–7.8 m, breaking out at up to 156 kN and lifting multi-tonne loads like pipes, manholes and demolition debris all day long.
Our fleet gives you real choice: the Doosan DX235LCR leads the class, backed by the Doosan DX225 and Komatsu PC228USLC-8. Several are reduced-tail-swing designs, which matters more than you’d think at this size — they let you run a 23T machine on confined urban and roadside sites where a conventional counterweight would be a safety risk. Rubber track pads are available where surface protection is required, and breakers, pulverisers and grab buckets can be supplied to suit. For mid-size civil work the 14T class is cheaper to run and float; for the biggest bulk and demolition jobs, step up to our 30T+ machines.
