The 12m rough terrain scissor is the compact end of the 4WD scissor fleet — outdoor working-at-height capability that still fits where the big RT machines can’t. Our Skyjack 6832 RT reaches an 11.75 m working height (9.75 m platform) with a 454 kg capacity, carrying up to four people plus tools at lower heights on a generously sized platform.
Diesel power and four-wheel drive get it across the unfinished ground, gravel and modest slopes that stop electric slab scissors at the door. That makes it right for exterior cladding, structural steel, fit-out of buildings before floors are finished, and general outdoor construction and maintenance. If your job is indoors on concrete, a 12m electric scissor is quieter and lighter; if you need more height outdoors, see our 15m and 17–18m RT classes.
