The Boom lift has shut down and it making an alarm sound – what’s happened?

The likely situation is the yellow bar across the front of the operating panel (the anti-crush panel) has been activated. To fix this hold down the yellow button for a few seconds until the alarm turns off, this has reactivated the anti-crush bar and you can go about operating as usual.
